Apple will soon release an update to iOS called the 6.1.3 update.
Developers started playing with 6.1.3 beta in February. There are many concerns that Apple fixed one of the exploits that evad3rs used when they made the jailbreak for iOS6.
Evad3rs team member Wang said that he analyzed the 6.1.3 beta 2 update and saw that it fixes one of the five bugs that their jailbreak exploited. Something to do with the OS’s time zone setting.
We probably will not receive the 6.1.3 update from Apple for another month and this gives the guys over at evad3rs plenty of time to release a new jailbreak to coincide with the iOS 6.1.3 update.
In the meantime, the best thing to do it turn off auto updating of your iPhone / iPad so that when they do roll out the new update to 6.1.3 it will not reset your device. There are many threads on the best way to avoid receiving the auto update, and you can search in the box above to find it.
